| Ayala Pharmaceuticals is a clinical stage oncology company focused on developing and commercializing small molecule therapeutics for patients suffering from rare and aggressive cancers. Co.'s portfolio of product candidates, AL101 and AL102, targets the aberrant activation of the Notch pathway using gamma secretase inhibitors. Gamma secretase is the enzyme responsible for Notch activation and, when inhibited, turns off the Notch pathway activation. Aberrant activation of the Notch pathway has long been implicated in various solid tumor and hematological cancers and has often been associated with more aggressive cancers.
