Through its subsidiary, Broadway Federal Bank, f.s.b., Co. is engaged in accepting deposits from the general public in the areas surrounding its branch offices, loan customers, non-profit entities, local municipalities, and depositors. These deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, primarily in mortgage loans secured by residential properties with five or more units (multi-family) and commercial real estate. In addition, Co. invests in securities issued by federal government agencies, residential mortgage-backed securities and other investments.
