Through its subsidiary, Coastway Community Bank (the Bank), Co. engaged in accepting retail deposits from the general public in its market area and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, in one- to four-family residential real estate loans, home equity loans and lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loans and, to a lesser extent, commercial business loans, commercial construction loans and consumer loans. Co. also provides online and mobile banking services. As of Dec 31 2016, Co. had total assets of $644.2 million and total deposits of $447.3 million.
