| Escalera Resources is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, production and sale of natural gas and crude oil in the Rocky Mountain basins of the western U.S. Co.'s production consists of natural gas from two properties located in southern Wyoming. Co. has coalbed methane reserves and production in the Atlantic Rim Area of the eastern Washakie Basin, and tight gas reserves and production on the Pinedale Anticline in the Green River Basin of Wyoming. Co. also hold acreage in the Greater Green River Basin of Wyoming and the Huntington Basin of Nevada. As of Dec. 31, 2014, Co. had estimated total proved reserves of 87.3 billion cubic feet of gas equivalent.
