| Gevo is engaged in remediating greenhouse gas emissions for those sectors of the transportation industry that are not amenable to electrification or hydrogen. Co. has four operating segments: Gevo segment, which is responsible for research and development activities related to the future production of renewable hydrocarbons; Agri-Energy segment, which is responsible for the operation of its facility in Luverne, MN and the production of isobutanol, ethanol and related products; Renewable Natural Gas segment, which is nearing completion of its construction and commissioning; and Net-Zero segment, which is responsible for the production of energy dense liquid hydrocarbons.
