Co.'s primary oncology drug candidate, REQORSA™ Immunogene Therapy, is being developed in combination with cancer drugs to treat Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and Small Cell Lung Cancer. The active agent in REQORSA is a plasmid that expresses a tumor suppressor gene named TUSC2. In diabetes, Co. has licensed from the University of Pittsburgh of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education multiple technologies relating to the development of a gene therapy product for each of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
