| Home Point Capital, through its subsidiaries, is a residential mortgage originator and servicer with a business model focused on growing originations by utilizing a network of partner relationships and its servicing operation. Co.'s business operations are organized into the following two segments: Origination and Servicing. In its Origination segment, Co. sources loans through the following production channels, Direct, Wholesale and Correspondent. Co.'s Servicing segment consists of servicing loans that were produced in its Originations segment where Co. retained the servicing rights.
