iShares S&P 500 Index Fund is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Standard & Poor's 500 Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of the large-capitalization sector of the United States equity market. The Index includes approximately 80% of the market capitalization of all publicly traded the United States equity securities. The component stocks are weighted according to the total float-adjusted market value of their outstanding shares. As of Mar 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $69,255,887,700 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $69,164,247,657.
