| The Joint Corp. is an operator, manager and franchisor of chiropractic clinics that uses a private pay, non-insurance, cash-based model. Co. operates through two segments: Corporate Clinics and Franchise Operations. The Corporate Clinics segment is comprised of the operating activities of the Co.-owned or managed clinics. Co. operates or manages approximately 135 clinics under this segment. The Franchise Operations segment is comprised of the operating activities of the franchise business unit. The franchise system consists of approximately 800 clinics in operation. It offers a range of membership and wellness packages.
