| Montage Resource is an independent exploration and production company engaged in the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas properties in the Appalachian Basin. Co.'s properties include Utica Shale fairway and Marcellus Area. Co. is the operator of the Utica Core Area and its Marcellus Area. Co.'s subsidiary, Magnum Hunter Production, Inc., owns certain oil and gas properties, primarily in Kentucky, including interests in certain drilling partnerships.
