| Proteostasis Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of therapeutics to treat cystic fibrosis (CF) through theratyping, or the process of matching modulators to individual response to treatment regardless of cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) mutations. Co.'s CF-focused pipeline consists of CFTR modulators including correctors, potentiators and amplifiers. Upon discovery of amplifiers, a class of CFTR modulators, Co. utilized their mechanism of action as a drug screening tool and identified correctors and potentiators that Co. is developing as combination therapies.
