| Senomyx uses proprietary taste receptor technologies to discover, develop and commercialize flavor ingredients and natural high intensity sweeteners (HIS). Co. focuses on the discovery, development and/or commercialization of flavor ingredients and natural HIS through five programs: sweet taste program; savory flavor program; bitter blocker program; cooling taste program; and salt taste program. Co. has product discovery, development and commercialization collaborations with several packaged food, beverage and ingredient companies. Co. also sells certain flavor ingredients directly to flavor companies for inclusion in flavor systems for re-sale to food and beverage companies.
