United Bancorp is a bank holding company. Through its subsidiary, Unified Bank (the Bank), Co. is engaged in the business of commercial and retail banking in Belmont, Harrison, Jefferson, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Athens, Hocking, and Fairfield counties and the surrounding localities. The Bank also operates in Marshall County West Virginia. Co.'s primary deposit products are checking, savings and term certificate accounts and its primary lending products are residential mortgage, commercial and installment loans. Substantially all loans are secured by business assets, consumer assets and real estate. Real estate loans are secured by both residential and commercial real estate.
