| Kimbell Royalty Partners is a holding company. Via its subsidiaries, Co. owns and acquires mineral and royalty interests in oil and natural gas properties throughout the United States. As an owner of mineral and royalty interests, Co. is entitled to a portion of the revenues received from the production of oil, natural gas and associated natural gas liquids from the acreage underlying its interests. Co. categorizes its assets into two groups: mineral interests and overriding royalty interests. Co.'s mineral and royalty interests are located in several states and in every main onshore basin across the continental United States and include ownership in producing wells in the Permian Basin.
