RLJ Lodging Trust is a real estate investment trust that owns hotels. Co. owns hotel properties located in various states and the District of Columbia. Co. owns, through wholly-owned subsidiaries several hotel properties, a controlling interest in The Knickerbocker, and an interest in an entity owning hotel property. Co. conducts its business through an umbrella partnership real estate investment trust in which its hotel properties are indirectly owned by its operating partnership, RLJ Lodging Trust, L.P., through limited partnerships, limited liability companies or other subsidiaries.
